road trip

Last weekend we decided to go to Island Park to visit my brother Ron and his wife Francis.  We invited Melanie to come and join us, so she did.  We met up in Pocatello on Friday night and went to Idaho Falls, where we stayed at the motel.  Saturday morning we awoke to snow!  We were excited as we were looking for good snow to ride the snowmobiles on!  We drove to Ron's house where we all went for a fun ride on Friday.  It was fun to be there in their new cabin, and spend time with them.   On Saturday Ron, two of his friends, Rick and Bob; Larry, and Melanie, all went on an all day ride.  They had a great time putting over 80 miles on their machines. While they were gone, Francis and I had a great day with her teaching me all kinds of fun things in card making and scapbooking.  All in all, it was a very fun weekend for me.  I loved having Mel there, and I think she enjoyed it as well.  I also enjoyed spending time with Ron and Francis.   They were very hospitable and very fun to be with.  I hope you enjoy the pictures of our fun weekend in beautiful Island Park!  Thank you Ron and Francis!

Way to go Ethan!

On January 31, our 5th grandchild, Ethan, was baptized.  I was so happy for him, and he definately was happy!  When he came out of the water, he had the biggest grin on his face.  He just couldn't stop smiling!  I loved being there and seeing the joy that came to him.  It was fun for him to share this great experience with both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins.  What a lucky boy!
